If you're in Dublin and craving a delicious, budget-friendly, wood-fired pizza, Sano Pizza is a must-visit spot! Located in the heart of the city, this place is a favorite among locals, students, and travelers alike.
I recently visited Sano Pizza with my language school friends after class, and it was an experience worth sharing. One of my Chinese friends, who has been in Dublin for a while, raved about this place—he’s been here six times already and takes every new friend he meets! That’s how good it is!

Since we were a group of seven—three Chinese friends, two Koreans (including me), and two Italians—we had an interesting cultural moment. The Italians insisted that in Italy, everyone orders their own pizza, while the rest of us argued that sharing is better. After a 30-minute fun debate, we compromised and ordered four pizzas to share (except for the Italians, of course).
Here’s what we tried:
